JDI Holds Technology Session Highlighting State-of-the-art Technologies

Japan Display Inc. (JDI) held a technology session, highlighting JDI's state-of-the-art technologies on January 22, 2016.
Akio Takimoto (Director of Research & Development Center) delivered the keynote address, emphasizing "Smartphone/Tablet", "Automotive" and "Reflective" as JDI's target markets in which LTPS will play a key role as the back-plane technology.
During his address, Mr. Takimoto noted that JDI's LTPS technology will be the answer to the market requirements - high resolution, low power consumption, in-cell touch, and OLED - with JDI possessing one of the largest LTPS production capacity.
Also at the venue, JDI showcased the latest state-of-the-art technologies.
