(IDW 2014) (Dec. 3-5)

Japan Display Inc. participated in The 21st International Display Workshops (IDW 2014), December 3-5, 2014.

IDW2014 was held in the Toki Messe Niigata Convention Center, Niigata, Japan. IDW is the largest Display Workshop in Asia. This year, a total of 489 papers were presented.

JDI presented three speeches pertaining to high resolution displays, and a speech focusing on the ideal photo-alignment technology for in-plane switching (IPS) LCDs. Many researchers were impressed by the fine and smooth characters appearing on the high resolution display (489ppi) during the Innovative Demonstration Session.
