JDI to Exhibit at 28th 3D & Virtual Reality Expo
Japan Display Inc. ("JDI") (President, Representative Director, and CEO Minoru Kikuoka) will exhibit its free roam VR system, which incorporates JDI VR head-mounted displays (product name VRM-100), at the 28th 3D & Virtual Reality Expo. This expo, which will be held February 26 (Wed.)-28 (Fri.), 2020, at Makuhari Messe, is a specialized exhibition within the Manufacturing World Japan 2020.
Free roam VR refers to a multi-participant type of VR in which multiple users can move around the same space. Unlike traditional VR, which only single individuals can experience, free roam VR is applicable to various operations that require team work, making advanced training possible. JDI provides high-quality training solutions by reproducing special situations, such as natural disasters (earthquakes, etc.) and terrorist attacks, in a VR space and combining this with a system that multiple people can experience.
Be sure to come to JDI's booth at the expo because you will be to try free roam VR.
