Signing of LumiFree Distributorship Agreement in North America
with GRE Alpha Electronics, Ltd.
1. Background of Distributorship Agreement
JDI’s LumiFree is the world’s first LED lighting technology that makes it possible to control the light distribution characteristics of LED lighting. LumiFree has been in mass production since July 2023, and since its launch has received high acclaim in Japan and across the world.
JDI entered a LumiFree business partnership with GRE Alpha on April 4, 2024. To further develop this partnership, GRE Alpha and JDI have reached a distributorship agreement for LumiFree in North America. This agreement aims to further expand the use of LumiFree in lighting applications by utilizing GRE Alpha’s extensive sales network and distribution channels in North America.
Through this agreement, GRE Alpha and JDI will provide further value to customers with LumiFree’s advanced light distribution control.
2. Overview of Distributorship Agreement
JDI and GRE Alpha agreed that GRE Alpha is the exclusive distributor of LumiFree and its driving board for lighting application customers in the US and Canada.
