JDI Begins Mass Production of WhiteMagic PRO LCD Module Delivering High Brightness and Wide Color Gamut with Low Power Consumption

WhiteMagic combines an RGBW pixel structure, consisting of red, green, blue, and white subpixels, with JDI’s proprietary signal processing technology to deliver both low power consumption and high brightness. By achieving high brightness with lower backlight power, WhiteMagic has been adopted in a range of consumer devices, including smartphones and digital cameras.

The newly developed WhiteMagic PRO combines JDI’s advanced RGBW and proprietary signal processing technologies with a high-efficiency backlight and high-color-rendering color filters to achieve up to 2,000 cd/m² brightness and DCI-P3 wide color gamut performance while maintaining low power consumption. By providing superior outdoor visibility and natural, vibrant color reproduction, WhiteMagic PRO enhances digital camera display performance.
JDI plans to expand WhiteMagic PRO into a broad range of applications beyond digital cameras, further expanding its market opportunities and delivering greater value to customers.
